Goatmire Elixir – Sweden’s First Elixir Conference

Goatmire Elixir is an international, small-scale tech conference dedicated to the Elixir programming language. Held in the coastal town of Varberg – conveniently accessible by train from both Copenhagen and Gothenburg – the event brings together developers, innovators, and Elixir enthusiasts for three days of engaging talks, community building, and inspiration.

Influenced by smaller, high-quality events like GigCity Elixir, The Big Elixir, and EMPEX, Goatmire will be the very first Elixir conference hosted in Sweden. It opens with the inaugural NervesConf EU on September 10, followed by two days of Goatmire Elixir sessions.

The name “Goatmire” is a creative nod to Varberg’s historical name, Getakärr, reflecting the event’s strong local roots with a global outlook.
